Corporate Ergonomics & Workplace Wellness Event

 FP India

Long hours at a desk take a toll most people don’t notice until it’s a chronic problem stiff necks, rounded shoulders, and lower back pain that outlasts the workday. At our recent corporate wellness session with FP India, the Areophysio team worked directly with employees to change that.

Our physiotherapists led hands-on ergonomic assessments, checking how each person’s workstation chair height, monitor position, keyboard placementwas affecting their posture. Small adjustments made a visible difference immediately, and employees left with a clear, practical understanding of how to set up their own desks correctly.

The session also covered simple, effective habits for spine health: posture correction techniques, stretches employees could do between meetings, and early warning signs of strain that are easy to miss until they become painful.

Feedback from the FP India team was clear: a little expert guidance on everyday habits goes a long way toward reducing pain, avoiding injury, and staying focused at work.

Aamchi Mumbai marathon- 4th jan 2026

Our first event of the year took us to the Aamchi Mumbai Marathon on 4th January, where our Physios supported runners through every stage pre-race prep, race-day care, and post-run recovery.

Our physiotherapists worked with runners on pre-race preparation, helping them arrive at the start line in the best possible physical condition. After the race, our team provided post-run stretching and recovery sessions, targeting the muscle fatigue and strain that come with long-distance running.

Beyond race day, Areo physio also supported runners in the weeks leading up to the other marathons through regular manual therapy sessions helping build the physical resilience needed to take on race day with confidence.

Watch what our runners had to say video testimonials from marathoners who trained and recovered with Areo physio are available [here / on our Instagram / embed link].

ICT Marathon x Areo Physio 29th March

The ICT Marathon 2026, themed “Miles for Mindfulness: Pathway Towards Peace,” was organized by the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) in Mumbai as part of a broader effort to raise awareness around mental health. The event brought together runners of varying experience levels from seasoned marathoners to first-time participants united by a cause that reaches far beyond the finish line: encouraging open conversations about mental wellbeing and the role physical activity plays in supporting it.

Areo Physio partnered with the ICT Marathon to ensure runners had expert physiotherapy support at every stage of their race-day experience. In the lead-up to the event, our team provided pre-marathon guidance, helping participants prepare their bodies appropriately and reduce the risk of injury before they even reached the start line. This kind of preparation matters as much for a first-time runner managing nerves and unfamiliar strain as it does for an experienced marathoner pushing their pace.

On race day and in its aftermath, our physiotherapists focused on post-marathon recovery helping runners manage the fatigue, muscle tightness, and general wear that come with long-distance running. Just as importantly, our team was on hand for the on-site management of injuries, sprains, and strains, addressing issues in real time so runners could recover safely rather than pushing through pain unsupported.

Being part of an event rooted in mental health awareness added a layer of meaning to our involvement. Physical recovery and mental wellbeing are deeply connected, and supporting runners’ bodies through the demands of a marathon is, in its own way, a contribution to the same larger goal the event stood for peace of mind, achieved one mile at a time.

Areo Physio partnered with the TSL Soccer Event at Don Bosco, Kurla, providing on-ground physiotherapy support across Under-8, Under-10, and Under-12 football matches. Working with young athletes brings its own demands, and our team was present pitch-side throughout offering in-match physio support, managing injuries as they happened mid-match, and guiding players through recovery once their games were done.

From minor knocks and muscle strains to the general wear of competitive play, our physiotherapists ensured that young players received prompt, appropriate care helping them return to the game safely where possible, and recover properly when rest was the right call.
