3. No Doctor–Patient Relationship
Browsing this Website, filling out an enquiry or contact form, or communicating with us online does not, by itself, create a doctor–patient (or physiotherapist–patient) relationship. Such a relationship is established only once a formal consultation has taken place and has been accepted by Areo Physio.
4. Appointments and Consultations
- Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed only once booking is acknowledged by our team.
- We recommend booking a few days in advance to secure your preferred date and time slot, as last-minute slots cannot always be guaranteed.
- Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made after this window may be treated as a missed appointment.
- Late arrivals may result in reduced consultation/session time, as sessions cannot typically run past their scheduled slot out of consideration for other patients.
- Frequent no-shows: Clients who repeatedly fail to show up for booked appointments without prior cancellation may have their future booked appointments cancelled by the clinic. Such clients will need to contact the clinic directly to resume booking further appointments.
5. Tele-Rehabilitation and Online Services
- Tele-rehabilitation has inherent limitations compared to an in-person physical examination and assessment.
- Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical information during tele-consultations; treatment recommendations are only as reliable as the information shared.
- Emergency medical conditions cannot be diagnosed or managed through tele-consultation. Please refer to our Emergency Disclaimer below.
6. Emergency Disclaimer
This Website and our tele-consultation services are not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately. 7. Patient Responsibilities
By availing our services, patients agree to:

- Follow prescribed treatment plans and home-exercise programs as advised.
- Promptly inform their treating physiotherapist of any changes in symptoms, discomfort, or adverse reactions during treatment.
- Understand and accept that, as with all healthcare treatment, there are inherent risks and benefits associated with physiotherapy.
- Wear appropriate clothing for physiotherapy sessions comfortable, activity-appropriate attire that allows the treating physiotherapist to safely assess and access the relevant area of treatment. Patients may be asked to change into suitable clothing where necessary for effective treatment.
8. Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for our staff and patients. Misbehavior, abuse, or disrespectful conduct of any kind towards our staff members will not be tolerated and may result in immediate discontinuation of services and/or legal action, in addition to denial of future appointments.
9. Payments and Refund Policy
- We accept payments through cash, card, UPI, American Express, Cheques,Link payments on request.
- No refunds will be provided on payments made for consultations, sessions, or packages, under any circumstances.
- Package validity: Physiotherapy packages do not carry a fixed validity period; however, package terms, pricing, and inclusions are subject to change in line with revisions to our rate card, at the clinic’s discretion.
- Membership transfers: Physiotherapy memberships/packages are non-transferable to spa memberships or services at our Shivaji Park and Goregaon outlets (or vice versa). Physiotherapy and spa memberships are treated as separate offerings and cannot be exchanged, converted, or combined.
- Unused sessions within a package do not entitle the client to a refund or cash equivalent.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this Website including but not limited to the Areo Physio name and logo, the Myo-Cross Friction System (MCFS) name and associated materials, text, images, videos, blogs, and educational resources is the intellectual property of Areo Physio & Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and/or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any Website content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
